Position Overview Deutsche Bank's CDO function sits in the newly formed Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) division. CDO works closely with divisional and infrastructure teams to define the bank's data strategy and action plans (e.g. reference data, front to back data delivery via CCO, data controls and DQ monitoring, AI & analytics). CCO DQM is a newly created team that will initially reside in the Group Chief Data Office. The team will evolve and change over time as analysis, definition, design and delivery of the required control framework and processes may happen. The of the team will also evolve into a team of 70 RTB exception management resources and data analytics SMEs. The team will also work closely with CDO's Data Insights team to develop and automate the key DQ analytics and remediation capabilities and also technology teams for the build out of CCO DQ services and functionality for exception and correction management workflow. The team will run data quality checks using both CCO and BRE applications and process corrections on published data (where publishers have delegated authority) in CCO via the ECM user interface. Prior to the daily production service being performed/available the team will carry out extensive testing on data published to CCO using the BRE application and raising data defects to publishing applications. Other elements of the service will include publishing of CCO data quality metrics and reporting, accepting data challenges from downstream consumer processing units and raising data challenges to the upstream publishing divisions/applications. Your key responsibilities Manage change request process for rule definitions via Business Rules Engine (BRE) and obtain agreement with downstream consumers, data producers prior to implementation of the business and adjustment rules Attend daily data challenge triage calls with data producers, RDA and consumers Monitor / confirm feed arrival times and status for data in CCO Confirm population counts of successfully published records on publication outbound and CCO inbounds Check alignment of corresponding data sets where relevant Publish status reports summarizing CCO data quality, issues, processing status, failures, etc. Advise consumer of schema validations / enumeration exceptions (against consumer thresholds) Process requested overrides from consumer data challenge through ECM Perform four eye check and approval of ECM overrides Liaise with data providers to obtain temporary corrections / defaults required for overrides Process back-dated adjustments for month end "as of" dates through ECM Confirm month end payload, daily delta payload and daily delta corrections availability Advise producer domains of corrections made to data quality (e.g. ingestion validation failures, referential integrity) Submit data challenge to producers to get corrections made in the producer sources as appropriate DQ Direct issue co-ordination for SDPs on CCO Your skills and experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent preferably with experience in the Financial Services Industry Experience in setting up and implementing robust operational processes in the DB environment Strong interest in Data, data analysis and data principles Analytical skills - manipulating big data and creating reporting views e.g. QlikSense/Tableau & other reporting tools Experience of DB data flows and systems a major advantage Ability to structure and resolve issues in a live cadence within this framework Strong people skills, particularly the ability to work with extended teams / partners across DB Ability to work in an agile manner with teams within CDO and at the wider bank levels How we'll support you Training and development to help you excel in your career Coaching and support from experts in your team A culture of continuous learning to aid progression What we'll offer you Competitive Salary Attractive Retirement Benefit Medical and Life Insurance upon employment 20 days Annual Vacation Leaves About us and our teams is the leading German bank with strong European roots and a global network.
