We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Support Specialist. The role reports during the day shift.
We currently offer work-from-home (WFH) arrangements, until the quarantine is fully lifted, and we are ready to move back to our offices. You must be WFH-capable with a strong internet connection. We will provide the work equipment upon commencement.

Our Queensland-based client is a multi-awarded technology and agile software development company with a small team in the Philippines. They are expecting to grow considerably over the coming year, and this role will be the first phase of its expansion.
Your Responsibilities
You will provide technical support to customers to ensure customers are getting maximum usage and service levels from the platform. In this role, you will thrive on identifying patterns, developing processes, and love the idea of being a part of the founding team. Your work includes:
Understanding the issues and their causes
Solving problems and explaining the problem to the development team or client
Finding solutions for any issue raised by the client
Assisting in setting up integration profiles and access to the client's integrated applications
Responding to help requests from the internal team or clients
Supporting the operational team through the understanding of the technology and developing user guides both written and through on-screen video production
Your Background
To qualify for this role, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree in IT or other related courses
6 months to 1-year experience in programming
1-2 years' experience in customer service/support experience
Basic knowledge of database management, programming, and agile development
High proficiency with Microsoft Applications
Knowledge of computer systems and software applications
Experience using desktop instructional video software
Video production capabilities - Camtasia, Snagit, Jing
Strong administration skills
Excellent English communication skills, both in written and oral
Understanding of issues and the capability to explain to a client without technical knowledge
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. You must be logical and creative about finding the right solutions.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
Great teamwork skills
