The Tax Supervisor is primarily responsible for the review of the Company's compliance with the applicable tax rules and regulations as well as the usual day-to-day tax matters including but not limited to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting with the BIR (i.e. Income Tax, VAT, EWT, 1606, FWT, related attachments). In addition, he/she will also perform other related duties as assigned to him/her from time to time by his/her superiors.
Review of tax returns (i.e. Income Tax, VAT, EWT, BIR Form 1606, FWT) and the related computations and attachments prepared by Junior Tax Specialist and Tax Encoder
Assistance in the preparation of tax returns (i.e. Income Tax,
VAT, EWT, BIR Form 1606, FWT) and the related computations and attachments if the need arises
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual income tax computations of all companies
Monitoring of balances of all tax accounts in the trial balance
Preparation of tax disclosures for presentation in the financial statements
Oversee the timely filing of tax returns with the BIR, including the orderly filing of the filed returns
Review of the company's compliance with the applicable tax rules and regulations as well as the usual day-to-day tax matters
Performance of other related duties as assigned to him/her from time to time by his/her superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/ Banking
Must have 1-2 yrs. experience handling taxation
Must be computer proficient
Goal-oriented and self-directed, can work with less supervision
Team player, pro-active and willing to work extended hours
Knowledge in Tax Regulations an advantage
Knowledge in the real estate industry a plus
