The Tax Supervisor is responsible for monthly preparation and filing of withholding taxes and VAT and other periodic requirements for tax compliance. In addition, he/she is responsible for monthly bank reconciliation and fixed assets accounting. Other related tasks within the scope of accounting may also be assigned to him/her as the need arise. The role will be reporting to the Associate Tax Manager.
Responsibilities:
Monthly Preparation of Bank Reconciliation
Monthly Preparation and Filing of Withholding Taxes (Final Withholding Tax, Withholding Tax on Wages, Expanded Withholding Tax)
Monthly and Quarterly preparation of Value Added Tax
Preparation of requirements for BIR-related compliance
Preparation of lapsing schedule for fixed assets and preparation of fixed assets related journal entries
Maintains ownership of the reports and working papers
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Other related tasks within the scope of accounting
Requirements:
At least 1 to 2 year(s) of working experience in accounting, preferably tax accounting
Newly passed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) may be considered for the position
Must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or any related field
Average to Excellent Microsoft excel skill is required
With strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must excel at multi-tasking and pay great attention to detail
Dynamic and pro-active
High level of passion to learn new things and adapt to a challenging task
Willing to work in Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX) office if needed
