Tax Function
Monitor and ensure tax compliance of the company to prevent significant tax issue risks from arising
Work closely with tax department of the head office in Taiwan to resolve taxation matters related to business and projects.(i.e. advise on withholding tax, tax treaties, transfer pricing issues and etc.)
Liaise with external tax consultant and tax authorities on tax-related matters
Support ad hoc projects (e.g. tax incentive application)
Accounting Function
Perform and maintain full set of accounting records and in charge of monthly financial closing procedure
Liaise with company secretaries and regional authorities for statutory requirement
Assists and prepares the tax return filing including but not limited to corporate income tax, VAT returns and withholding tax returns in accordance with laws and regulations
Requirements
University Degree, or professional qualification in Accounting, Business and Finance
At least 5 years relevant experience with Big Four Accounting firms or MNC exposure (Technology industry experience is preferred)
Good knowledge in Financial Reporting Standards, tax regulations and tax treaties of Philippines
Good computer skills, including advanced knowledge of excel
A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in English (able to speak in Mandarin is a plus)
