It is an independent member of the BDO Alliance USA, a nationwide association of independently owned local and regional accounting, consulting and service firms with similar client service goals.
We are seeking a dedicated professional accountant to join our team as a Manager. We expect our Managers to exhibit excellent technical skills as well as superb leadership traits.
Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum of 7+ years' experience in US, Philippine or International Tax Accounting in a public accounting firm
Must be a Certified Public Accountant or similar designation
Proficiency in CCH Prosystem fx Tax and Quickbooks, preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Accounting software, a must
Amenable to work on the following shift (5:00pm-1:00am MNL) and in Makati
Minimum competencies
The ability to manage multiple high demand engagements at once
Excellent technical and review skills across a broad range of accounting and tax issues
Extensive experience in staff supervision with a proven effectiveness in staff development
Top-notch professionalism with staff high pressure situations
Exceptional collaboration skills and a desire to work as part of a high performing and demanding team
Minimum Qualifications
Assigning work to maximize efficiency and meet due dates and deadlines without undue pressure
Supervise multiple engagements at the same time, ensuring that jobs meet the time budget and targeted due date
Contribute to firm administration, as needed and requested,
Perform other job-related duties as required
