The Accounting Lead (Tax Lead) will be responsible for assisting the management of the tax compliance functions. He/she will act as they key point of contact and support for local and national taxation matters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
TAX COMPLIANCE
Review the BIR returns of the company and its subsidiaries
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate tax returns
Check if the company and its subsidiaries are in compliance with basic tax requirement of both local and national government
TAX AUDIT (BIR AND LGU)
Liase with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the group
Prepare and compile documentary requirements of tax authorities
Analyze, provide and suggest possible ways of minimizing the tax assessment
TAX RESEARCH AND PLANNING
Monitor new tax developments and advise other professional of same
Research and develop new tax-saving strategies
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Accountancy
With a minimum 3 years accounting work experience
With Experience in Supervising a Staff
CPA License is required
