As a Tax Compliance Associate you will be in-charge of the following responsibilities:
Assist in the Taxes and Licenses Monitoring and Maintenance
Assist in the preparation of the required documents in securing the necessary business permits for newly opened and soon to open stores.
Assist in the facilitation, monitoring, follow-up and claiming of other permits and licenses for existing and soon to open stores.
Assist and provide taxes and licenses documents requested and needed by other departments and branches.
Prepare the annual sales report for all stores every January of the year for business permit renewal.
Assist in the maintenance of a complete file of all permits and licenses.
Filing of BIR Returns in BIR portal the following SPCI and SSI taxes:
Withholding tax-Expanded
Withholding tax-Compensation (filing only)
Value Added Tax
Filing of Annual Alphalist Compensation-Employees
Filing of Annual Alphalist-Expanded (list of Suppliers)
Encode the following BIR requirements of SPCI and SSI in BIR format:
List of Regular Suppliers semi-annually
VAT Relief
Alphalist of Expanded Withholding Tax
Refundable Withholding Tax
Collate and prepare schedule for the refundable withholding tax certificate to be applied every filing of Quarterly and Annual Income Tax.
Assist in the coordination with national and local government examiners and employees regarding taxes/license review and examinations.
Prepare and release withholding tax certificate (BIR Form 2307) of SPAVI & SPCI to utility companies, contractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications
To apply for the role, here are the requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 2 years' experience in General Accounting and government reporting/filing of requirements.
Must be literate on MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Open Office
Must be knowledgeable on any computerized accounting system (e.g. SAP)
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Amenable to work in our Head Office in Paranaque City (Bicutan)
