The position shall be part of GSSC Tax Team primarily responsible in delivering the overall tax and regulatory compliances of the company.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payment of national and local taxes.
Handle Finance-related PEZA operational compliances and reportorial requirements.
Ensure timely renewal of business permits and licenses.
Handle SEC, BOI, PSA and LGU compliance requirements.
Prepare supporting documentation and formal responses to BIR and other regulatory bodies' inquiries and audits.
Monitor and analyze new tax regulations for proper embedding to process and procedures.
Assess and research on tax issues and escalate complex tax matters to external consultants or Group Tax for advice.
Support the development of policies and procedures to maintain compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Support the development of tax strategies that align with business goals.
Assist in identifying areas to reduce or eliminate tax exposure.
Recommend improvements to tax related systems and tools.
Work to enhance employees' tax awareness and consciousness to ensure compliance to tax regulations in handling financial transactions.
