Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing tax filings and reporting, and providing expert advice on tax-related matters. The ideal candidate should be a certified public accountant (CPA) with a strong background in tax accounting, tax reporting, tax advisory and tax risk, tax/BIR audit, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Conduct regular tax audits to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Provide expert tax advice to the Finance team and other stakeholders on tax-related matters.
Develop and maintain effective tax strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize tax savings.
Assist in the negotiation and management of tax-related contracts with vendors and other third parties.
Manage tax reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with new requirements.
Identify and mitigate tax risks and develop strategies to address potential issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, tax reporting, tax advisory and tax risk, tax/BIR audit, and contract management.
Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
