The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing guidance on tax compliance issues. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to ensure accurate reporting and minimize tax liabilities.Key Responsibilities
Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct tax research to stay up-to-date on legislation changes and tax compliance requirements.
Assist in tax planning and strategy development to optimize tax positions.
Respond to tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Provide consultation to clients on tax issues and strategies.
RequirementsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
5+ years of experience in tax accounting or related field.
Strong knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and reporting.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
