The Talent Acquisition team in the Philippines drives the end-to-end recruitment process for all vacancies in the country, and leads various programs intended to attract talent and build LSEG's employment brand.
We have an exceptional opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Associate (TAA) in our Philippine branch. This role will work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to attract, assess, and deliver candidates for certain business units, and in executing internal and external TA activities (e.g., job fairs, employee referral caravans). The TAA will use talent sourcing and research skills combined with relationship management ability to build talent pipelines of both active and passive candidates. The successful candidate will also handle administrative work such as but is not limited to updating the applicant tracking system, generating letters, coordinating recruiting activities (e.g., interviews), collecting pre-employment requirements, and building the new hire's 201 folder.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop sourcing strategies in accord with TA partners and the TA manager to achieve organization's short- and long-term hiring goals
Provide in depth research and market intelligence on competitor organizations
Take initiative to contact passive candidates online and through networking calls
Interview appropriate candidates and provide background summaries in accordance with expectations
Timely endorse qualified candidates for the assigned requisitions
Build solid working relationships with Talent Acquisition Partners and internal stakeholders
Provide timely feedback to shortlisted candidates on their application
Use in-house databases, ATS, recruitment marketing platform and maintain data integrity of all information
Accurately and efficiently deliver administrative work in relation to recruiting activities, such as but is not limited to updating the applicant tracking system, generating letters, coordinating recruiting activities (e.g., interviews), collecting pre-employment requirements, building the new hire's 201 folder, coordinating with external vendors for background checks and medical checks
Drive employment branding through social media channels
Provide regular and ad hoc reports as required
Partner with colleagues on projects and initiatives as requested
Deliver diversity and inclusion initiatives of the Talent Acquisition organization
Other Talent Acquisition duties as deemed necessary
Position Requirements:
Significant experience as a talent acquisition associate, from both corporate and agency environments
Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced work environment
Domain expertise in sourcing and interviewing candidates
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience in research/recruiting/sourcing candidates (agency or corporate)
Successful cold calling and interviewing experience at all levels of a corporation
Highly organized and able to function and adapt in a high demand and changing environment
Internet savvy of web tools and techniques and mining databases
Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external networks, based on mutual trust, courageous and insightful advice, and consistent delivery
Strong business acumen with a commercial/pragmatic approach
Effective oral and written communication skills when dealing with management and employees at various organization levels, including senior management
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
Ability to collaborate and work across a large, diverse, and matrixed organization
Strong relationship and communication skills
Ability to build strong credibility with business leaders across the company
Effective advising skills in working with managers in setting recruiting expectations, developing an effective sourcing strategy and evaluating candidates
Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently to manage workload
