Your Role and Responsibilities
Systems Management Specialists with this specialization perform implementation and administration of products within the category of Web Application Middleware Platforms running on Distributed Systems (Windows, Unix, z/Linux and Linux).
This role is performed by technical professionals that have expertise in managing and operation of IT hardware, software, communications, and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business. The scope of this job role includes preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance. Individuals in this role apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions and typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical client situations.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience as a Linux / UNIX Systems Administrator in a systems operations role.
Deploy and support applications in Docker/Kubernetes cluster.
Should have used monitoring tools such as IBM APM (Application Performance Monitoring), NewRelic or AppDynamics to monitor the client's environment
Technical understanding of IBM Cloud platform , Container management, Kubernetes node, Docker EE ICP, UDP and DTR management, HA infrastructure and load balancer

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Any Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM Cloud)
Experience in Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies
Should understand the ITIL processes of Incident (including Critical Incident Management), Problem, Change management and Integrated Service Level Management.
Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (day shift/mid shift/night shift)
You should at least have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
