DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Systems Infrastructure Administration
Plan and design the systems infrastructure and security to meet the Company's present and future systems requirements
Develop and formulate methodologies for testing systems performance and generate statistics report and propose policies to optmize the systems resources to the Systems Administrator
Ensure implementation of secured systems access based on the Company's policies and procedures
Provide recommendations on the installation, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of systems and security equipment of the Company to the Systems Administrator
Handle testing of disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions related to systems functionality
Monitor and maintain the effciency and effectiveness of the incident with regards to systems and security management process and make recommendations for improvement
Monitor and analyze IT incident service requests and ensure timely and effective resolution of incidents encountered by users based on Company's policies and procedures
Implement projects and activities from planning, deployment, commissioning, and creation of turn over documentation stages in line with systems infrastructure and security in a timely manner with accompanied project status report together with assigned project team members
Ensure high availaibility and acceptable levels of performance of mission-critical IT resources
Responsible for the configuration of user requirements for enhancements in various IT systems and security services
Maintain, review, and evaluate knowledge-based docmentation for all the functional solutions made for the errors encountered in IT systems
Create strong working relationship with other units and provide IT-related resources in support to the department's work program and carry out other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned that needs IT-related expertise
Continuous Improvement
Keep abreast of industry-related developments and best practices related to systems infrastructure and security and recommend possible adaptations applicable for the unit and the Company
Attend trainings and seminars to enhance core skill and to stay ahead of evolving trends on systems infrastructure and security
Risk Management
Develop and recommend plans for risk mitigation related to systems security to the Systems Administrator
Analyze the value of assets to the business, identifying threates to those assets, and evaluate how vulnerable each asset is to those threats
Conduct testing for risk mitigation including collaboration with stakeholders
Implement risk mitigation plans upon approval of the Department Manager
Monitor and review implemented risk mitigation plans
Provide awareness, eduction, and training to stakeholders to build risk awareness within the Company
Perform other necessary and related tasks for the achievement of the unit's and Company's goal
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of BS Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or other IT-related courses
At least two (2) years of professional experience in IT system administration of Windows, Linux/Unix, Server, and Storage
Possesses team work, good interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, initiative excellent problem-solving skills, technical and organized intellect, keen attention to detail
Has in-depth knowledge of IT Systems Infrastructure
Ability to define technical information to easy-to-understand terms, ability to communicate effectively
Has knowledge in FTP, UDP, TCP/IP, SSH, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, Domain Controller, Active Directory, NAS, File Server
Has knowledge in managing Linux, Unix, Windows, Storage, Virtualization, and End-point security systems in a business environment
Has experience in back-up application policies and procedures; has good understanding of processes and be comfortable with re-engineering methods to achieve effectiveness; has knowledge with of current system hardware, protocols, and data center standards; has strong knowledge of system monitoring management and analysis tools
