Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design of various structures with the aid of computer software such as Space Gas, ETABS, STAAD and MathCAD that conforms to the local or international structural code and client requirement.
Prepare structural layouts or sketches in accordance with structural design calculations for CAD input.
Prepare design calculations.
Develop specifications to meet project requirements.
Develop drawings for CAD input.
Review drawings from CAD.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties that may be assigned.
Shall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures.
Shall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior.
Job Qualification:
Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Minimum five (5) years of related work experience (Transportation)
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities Requirement
Basic knowledge of structural design of buildings and bridges.
Basic knowledge of structural detailing.
Computer literacy and basic knowledge of the use of design software such as Space Gas, ETABS, STAAD, MathCAD and AutoCAD.
Basic knowledge of local and international structural codes and standards.
