Take responsibility for the strategic sourcing management goals of the company and implement action items to ensure that those goals are achieved for the ff:

IT Requirements
Including GBS and ROHQ requirements
Implement supplier agreements/contracts when beneficial by working with cross functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions.
Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect the continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities.
Evaluate, select and establish relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for goods and services.
Sourcing for local and foreign suppliers.
Develops and delivers regular spend reports based on the data available from all available sources, identify early trends and potential solutions.
Analyze category, market and industry trends along with advances in sourcing to develop appropriate recommendations regarding the procurement of goods and services.
Facilitate the administration of vendor-related activities such as registration, rating onsite inspection and evaluation of vendors.
Manages releases of imported products from the Bureau of Customs.
Perform other task related to work designation as per instruction by the superior.
Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Receives and reviews all approved Purchase Requests (PRs) prepared by various end-users thru POIS.
Canvasses prices of requested goods/services from accredited suppliers for submission of bids.
Negotiate price and delivery lead time.
Recommends supplier for awarding in compliance with the procurement procedure.
Convert PR to Purchase Order (PO) within committed lead time.
Sends approved PO together with Terms and Conditions to awarded supplier.
Ensure timely delivery/completion of PO.
Identify frequency of requirements and prepare contracts to cover the goods/services.
Coordinates with, Financial Reporting and Treasury Section Managers for:
Clearing of Advances or fully delivered purchases
Every month, prepares:
Fixed Assets Report- status of delivered / undelivered capex and Supplies Expense accrual
Fixed assets received by end-users for appropriate and adequate insurance coverage, coordination with the QHSE Coordinator
Reporting requirements for status of facilities management critical to the operations of the company
Reporting requirements for Corporate Sustainability
Reporting requirements for KPI performance tracking of procurement activities
Submit Monthly Operations Report (MOR) to Procurement Manager.
Other reports that maybe required from time to time
Performs other tasks and projects that may be assigned by his Superior.
Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity
QHSE Coordinator
Assists Procurement Manager in the review and demonstration of policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensures propriety and adequacy of insurance coverage for all sites, including all company assets. Liaises with insurance brokers and insurance agents for insurance claims and related matters.
Ensures risk assessments are completed for all routine and non-routine activities for the team.
Participates in incident investigations involving personnel within the function line by doing root cause analysis and or other related quality methodologies
Reports all Quality - related audits and incidents using the national Audits library and Service Improvement Requests (SIR), respectively
Reports all HSE-related incidents such as near misses in accordance with the SGS Incident Reporting requirements.
Responds appropriately to emergency situations and assists other. staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.
Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS
Performs Supplier's Accreditation and summarizes results of Supplier's Evaluation from Procurement Officers.
Reports group's performance and areas for improvement and the promotion of customer requirements awareness
Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity
Complies with the QHSE policies including but not limited to:
Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS QHSE Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings, completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafe work, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to QHSE.
Responds appropriately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.
In accordance with the SGS QHSE Management System requirements, disposes of, or directs the disposal of, waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all waste transportation and disposal regulations and requirements.
Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) in accordance with the SGS Incident Reporting requirements.
Uses all equipment (including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to supervisor.
Maintain a safe and tidy worksite.
Maintains awareness of hazards and proposes controls to supervisor, QHSE Representatives or relevant client/ site contact.
Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management.
Qualifications
A graduate of a four or five-year college course with background of QMS or auditing or equivalent
Atleast 2 years experience in Procurement and/QHSE
