About the Role
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing client relationships, setting the strategy, briefing your team, and guiding the implementation of marketing strategies for clients assigned to you.
You will handle the full life cycle of marketing strategic planning, retention, lifestyle branding, optimisation, and project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Quickly building rapport with clients with regular communication and meetings.
Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, as well as researching and recommending new opportunities, profit, and service improvements.
Effectively communicating with peers. Specifically, around client deliverables to ensure expectations are exceeded as often as possible.
Working with sales and management to identify future opportunities for the company to assist clients.
Identifying service improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Preparing reports for clients and management.
Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards.
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Position Prerequisites
Total of five years of experience in email marketing life cycle (two years of experience in using ESP platforms, preferably Klaviyo).
Experience in an agency, eCommerce, and retail brands or similar environment is a must.
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
Experience in Klaviyo, email and SMS marketing software, and CRM platforms.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level.
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in other email marketing platforms such as:
Yotpo
Salesforce
MailChimp, etc.
eCommerce platforms
BigCommerce or Shopify

Asana
Slack
