GoTeam is currently in search of a skilled Staff Accountant to join our top-performing team. This role requires expertise in commission calculations, journal entry coding, bill entry, payment processing, and data entry tasks. If you have a strong background in GL accounting, superb attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, we'd love to hear from you! In this position you will be:
Assisting with commission calculations
Coding journal entries
Processing bill entry and payments
Processing 15-20 invoices per week
Preparing commission statements for producers
Managing accounting schedules
Supporting month-end close and journal entry preparation
Ensuring proper coding of all transactions
Reviewing producer commission statements
Conducting bank reconciliations and reporting variances
Downloading insurance carrier commission statements
Preparing ACH payments to producers
Performing data entry tasks
Handling special projects as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or similar
Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in industry-level GL accounting (QuickBooks Online)
Minimum of 4 years of work experience in billing and accounting; Certification is a plus
Must possess a strong Microsoft Excel skills
Proficient in analytical and critical thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote work
Must have attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team
Efficient workflow and deadline management
