payroll process combined with payroll system knowledge, and customer service passion.
Amazon seeks a Sr. Specialist - Philippine Payroll (Managerial level) with at least 10 years payroll and/or accounting experience in a large customer-oriented corporate environment.
Philippine payroll is processed on a semi-monthly basis and this person will perform a variety of process and technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility including data compilation and support of the Payroll Operations Team. The person must have deep knowledge and experience of Philippine payroll. This role is an individual contributor. Responsibilities also include, but not limited to:
· Analyze employees' feedback and identify process improvement
· Work/collaborate with other teams in implementing identified process improvement
· Investigate and answer escalations
· Conduct trainings to the team and employees
· Create monthly operations report to stakeholders
· Create root cause analysis, SOP
· System enhancements/projects
· Assist the team in daily operations such as validation and case handling
· Basic Qualifications
· At least 10 years of Philippine payroll experience
· Familiar with sampling methodologies to ensure the correct number of audits are performed.
· Excellent verbal, visual, written and listening skills.
· Basic knowledge of MS SharePoint / SQL to fetch the data needed for analyzing and avoid dependency.
· Deep knowledge of Excel and experience in working with databases.
· Excellent data visualization and analysis skills.
· Ability to create structure and provide leadership in ambiguous situations.
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
· Able to navigate somewhat ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers, and know when to escalate to keep the project moving forward.
·Preferred Qualifications
· Strong experience with customer service.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels in a matrix organization.
