Core Responsibilities:
Responsible for completeness and accuracy of DBM Vircon's trial balance, company ledgers, journals, including reversing journals, lease accounting compliance and validity of entries
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Handles foreign currency transactions revaluations
Recharge of intercompany transactions and reconciliations thereof
Treasury functions - prepare and process payment run, preparation of cash flow information, bank entry processing, bank reconciliations etc.
Coordination and payments of Tax, Superannuation, Pension, BAS, GST, VAT, ASIC fees and other statutory payments as required
Legislative returns as required, e.g. WorkSafe, Government surveys etc.
Complies with all internal/external audit requirements
Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet DBM Vircon's and its clients' needs
Effectively manages change to work tasks and the work environment and assists others with adapting to change
Able to identify issues problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required
Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance
Able to share and transfer knowledge within the team
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel
Work Experience:
At least 5+ years previous experience working in a similar role
Experience in working in a Global company is an added advantage
