Position Summary
As a member of the Global Corporate Compliance team, you will support the implementation of Dexcom's Corporate Compliance Program in the Philippines and broader APAC region. This includes partnering with business stakeholders to communicate compliance program requirements and culture. In addition, this role offers the opportunity to be involved in all elements of a Compliance Program, including risk assessments, training, monitoring, investigation and third-party due diligence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Investigations: Assist to conduct compliance related investigations
Conduct Compliance Monitoring activities
Ethics and Compliance Culture: Develop and implement initiatives to embed Ethics and Compliance culture, e.g., plan and implement annual Ethics and Compliance Week
Data privacy: Local Point of Contact for Data Privacy, these includes:
Registration to National Privacy Commission (NPC) and communicating important memorandum issued by NPC to APAC Corporate Compliance, and Data Privacy Team
Investigate actual and potential data incidents assisted by Data Privacy Team and Cybersecurity team
Monitor the preventive and correction actions identified during investigations
Maintain the Personal Data Inventory and Data Incident Tracker
Anti-Bribery Anti- Corruption Due Diligence:
Manage the due diligence process for third parties, e.g., review questionnaire, order screening reports, review red flags, etc.
Quarterly or Bi-annual review of active vendor master records to ensure due diligence has been completed
Advise business on the conduct of due diligence and facilitate related training
APAC Grants: Coordinate and APAC Grant requests
Commercial Sponsorship: Review requests as required for compliance with industry code.
Health Care Provider (HCP) Speaker Engagements:
Guide users on the use of system (i.e., Porzio)
Provide advice on HCP related engagements, e.g., process, Fair Market Value, etc.
Provide system approvals for HCP Consultancy engagement
In-Scope Countries: Philippines and APAC Commercial - Distributor Markets
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in law and/or accounting
Healthcare compliance experience is either consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Preferably Supervisor or Assistant Manager level specializing in healthcare commercial industry
Further Requirements and Competencies
Related knowledge and experience on Data Privacy,
Ability to influence senior level discussion making
Experience communicating with a fragmented group of stakeholders in multiple locations
Exceptional writing and oral presentation skills
A track record of bringing business or organization to a compliance level both local and international standards
Travel
Up to 25%
Experience and Education
Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
