About the role
The Specialist - Organizational Development provides expert support across enterprise initiatives relating to critical people activities such as talent, succession and career management, leadership, capability and development programs, culture and engagement and employee experience across the lifecycle.
What you will be doing
Support the end-to-end delivery of Orica's organizational culture and engagement programs, including employee surveys and initiatives to enhance the employee experience across the lifecycle
Support end to end processes involved in the talent management and succession planning cycle, ensuring consistency in practice globally
Support programs that build of a strong talent pipeline across Orica, ensuring they meet the business' current and future needs. This includes emerging and future leaders, HIPO, mentoring, graduate and pathway programs.
Support key activities relating to the implementation of Orica's leadership traits and development programmes, ensuring milestones are planned and well communicated. Collaborates with regional/ BU HR teams to execute on key activities
Using data and analytics to inform progress and maturity of Organizational Development initiatives and drive insight into further actions or review.
Contribute to evaluation, reporting and analysis of talent, leadership and organizational development activities to measure their effectiveness.
What you will bring
Tertiary qualified in HR, Psychology, Business, Management, Commerce or related discipline
3-6 years' experience post professional qualification in Human Resources and Organizational Capability/ Development
Demonstrated ability on project management and/or coordination
Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret qualitative and quantitative data for problem identification and solutions
Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and independently
