The FactSet RMS family of products provide research solutions for financial institutions including investment banks, hedge funds, mutual funds, pension plans, endowments, foundations, and brokerage firms, with an active presence across the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
To support the growth of our business, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a technical background and strong interpersonal skills. You will join a dynamic group and be an integral part of the FactSet RMS Project team. You will be responsible for helping implement, install, customize, and support the product deployed at the client.
Responsibilities
Assist Global Product Specialists with projects that can last from a few weeks to a few months
Customize the product according to plan, within predefined time frame, workload, and specifications
Implement client customizations in local environments, as well as in client development and testing environments
Work closely with Product Specialists in client-facing regions to respond to client requests
Follow best practices for customization, implementation, and client communication
Ensure highest quality of deliverables
Proactively monitor and report project status to Project Manager, Team Lead, and client stakeholders
Job Requirements
A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent - Computer Science, IT, or Engineering are preferred
3+ years of experience in programming or data management
Superior client service attitude and skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent presentation skills, written and oral communication skills, and solid organizational skills a required
Demonstrates critical thinking ability and a willingness to learn new technologies
Background with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting
Desire to work on shifting schedules
