Jobs in this family are responsible for effective, organization-wide purchasing of services, materials and supplies in order to maximize cost efficiencies, price leverage and quality while also identifying and mitigating risk to the organization. Typically oversees development of broad internal policies and strategies, specific parameters for procurement, vendor selection and negotiation. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Procurement of services related to Marketing and Travel
Managing procurement operations for regional and international teams/stakeholders
Delivering savings targets to clients and managing suppliers
Negotiating contracts, RFP and RFI's
Interaction with presales/sales/bid support teams to develop collaterals and methodologies for strategic sourcing
Work closely with the commodity research team to formulate commodity strategy used for sourcing projects
Work with less structured, more complex issues
Serve as a resource to others
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Sound knowledge of contracts and agreements
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science / Business or equivalent
MBA in Marketing / Operations
