Job Description
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields
At least 2 years of experience in developing iOS applications using iOS SDK & XCode
Experience with Objective-C or Swift, Cocoa Touch, iOS frameworks, Android SDK, and Android application architecture is an advantage
With 2 or more experience completing end-to-end mobile app development while complying with user interface standards, data storage, encryption, security, & performance
Experience in Android development is an advantage
Experience working in DevOps culture and toolset e.g. CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, pipeline management, and other ancillary tools is an advantage
Job Descriptions:
Experience in using ReactNative in developing mobile applications in cross-platform and understanding its core concepts i.e. components, JSX, props, state, components API
Understand and experience in developing mobile applications using C or a variant of C languages like Objective C, Swift, Cocoa Touch, Kotlin, Java, or C++,
Good grasp of the following: (1) object-oriented programming concepts, (2) design patterns, (3) Apple design principles, iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation offline storage, threading, & performance tuning (4) Android app architecture such as Fragments, Views, offline storage, threading, & performance tuning
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications with back-end services.
Knowledge of other web technologies & UI/UX standards
Flexible in learning new skill sets and ability to cope with new technology trends (e.g android)
Experience with source code and release management tools, i.e. Git, BitBucket, Jenkins, Jenkins Pipelines, or similar
Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, advanced troubleshooting, and debugging skills
Strong presentation and communication skills (to both technical and non-technical audiences, written and verbal)
Self-management and strong organizational skills
Drive design, development, deployment from simple to complex mobile applications for the iOS & Android platform using ReactNative
Adopt and implement unit-test code for mobile app robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Working closely with QA to ensure testing and rework cycle is communicated, documented and undertaken
Providing all documentation (technical and testing) pertaining to their work
Delivering handover meetings to customer and application support / operations
Delivery of project milestones / tasks to agreed deadlines and quality standards
Being self-sufficient in delivering work and overcoming technical problems and barriers encountered through research
Proactivity in identifying opportunities for improvement across the projects and our methodologies
Provide timely status updates to project leadership and highlight problems early
Working with the team to overcome knowledge gaps and help the team progress
