This exciting role in Infor PSSC Inc will work with other software developers for Cloud development to design and implement applications and enhancements using Java code. This resource will also be accountable to develop, maintain and enhance applications.
The successful candidate can expect to interact with a global team in multiple locations and time zones on a greenfield Cloud product using the very latest Cloud technologies including: * Docker
Kubernetes
AWS and Azure Cloud tools and technologies
Managed databases - Redshift, AWS RDS, SQL Server and others
Agile development (Scrum)
Continuous Integration and Deployment paradigms
The project is high profile and a key part of the Infor Cloud platform. The successful candidate can expect a challenging but extremely rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs development, maintenance and enhancement of existing product modules.
Works on problems of simple to moderate scope.
Prepares program documentation of product components.
Ensures products conform to design or usability requirements as defined in the Company's product /support standards.
Establishes technical proficiency in design, implementation and unit testing, reviewing results and ensuring that the code conforms to the design of one's own work. Strives to increase application knowledge.
What you will need:
at least 6 months of Core Java coding experience for technologies in a fast-paced environment for Web Development.
Experience in Spring frameworks and libraries
Strong object-oriented software systems design and architectural skills
Experience or familiarity in Amazon Web Service is a plus
Must have at least one of experience in the following: SQL, Cloud, UI
Comfortable in using Integrated Development Environment (i.e. Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.)
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an interest in working in a collaborative team environment
Ability to deliver results, prioritize activities, and to manage time effectively
Ability to create and work in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment
