Job Description:
Responsible for:
The development of robust and complete software solutions as specified by the business, using tools, techniques, patterns and languages that are representative of good software engineering and development practice. Review systems and lead roadmap and improvements for the life of various software systems.
Extent of Authority:
Draft software solution designs that reflect stakeholder requirements.
Develop software packages modules, solutions and systems that fulfil stakeholder requirements.
Build development environments or as required, advise other teams of requirements.
Recommend roadmaps, development approaches and designs for various software systems based on experience and research.
Align development and operational standards and practices set by the Division (ASD)
Main Activities:
Ensure that all software systems process customer information in a secure and timely manner.
Understand, clarify, and liaise with business stakeholders, as required.
Understand and work with published schedules and development priorities.
Understand and contribute to project and product vision.
Participate in use-case design and analysis throughout a product's lifecycle.
Participate in change request review and management.
Support the entire development process by assisting or advising testing, documentation, support, and other teams as necessary.

Assist positively in the development and communication of the team's goals and strategies.

Qualifications and Typical Experience:
Tertiary qualification Software Development or Engineering, or equivalent experience

Special Circumstances:
Must be prepared to undertake intrastate, interstate, or overseas travel as required.
Maintain and keep up to date with relevant technical knowledge to effectively provide the best solutions to meet the needs of Fuji Xerox.
Use or wear personal protective equipment (PPE) e.g., vests, ear plugs, safety shoes, safety goggles etc. as per PPE requirements in your designated work area.
Must be eligible to legally work in Australia.
Employment is dependent on a national police criminal history check that is acceptable to FUJIFILM DMS.
Additional security clearances may be required as requested by FUJIFILM DMS or its clients.
Required to work reasonable additional hours as may be necessary to meet the requirements of the position.
Maintain FUJIFILM DMS and client confidentiality.
Some travel may be required to various FUJIFILM DMS sites, interstate or overseas to meet requirements of the role.
May be needed to be on-call from time to time to meet requirements of the role.
Required to participate in workplace fit-for-work initiatives (including stretching programs).
