Salary Range: Php 70,000 to Php 100,000
Location: Cebu City, Philippines
US company with a satellite office in Cebu City is looking for experienced and talented software developers.
Our software developers develop the next-generation technologies that change how people buy cars in the United States (www.iprecheck.com, www.scanmyscore.com). Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond credit scores. We're looking for developers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, and security; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software developer, you will work on a specific project critical to our needs as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our developer to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
- Experience developing highly interactive applications.
- Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JQuery.
- Must have worked on open source Sidekiq framework.
- A firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design patterns.
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code.
- Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in developing iOS and Android apps, a plus.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working for an international company, preferably the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Design robust, scalable and secure features.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into the design.
- Clean-up bugs on a daily basis and build new features to the apps.
