Job Description
In this role, you will work in a larger multi-year program, where Merkle provides an end-to-end service center to build and run multiple solutions for an international multi-brand gardening equipment manufacturer.
The majority of work will come from continuous enhancements, improvements, incident management and resolution (bug fixes and service requests), and maintenance work. Next to Sitecore, the client also runs SFCC, Magnolia CMS, and other solutions which are connected via an enterprise service bus based on Azure Technologies.
This role will mainly focus on the support and maintenance of the Sitecore platform. The successful candidate will join an international multi-skilled team founded on customer centricity and pro-activeness.
Your job responsibilities are listed below:
Responsible for the analysis and resolution of support tickets via ServiceNow
Maintenance of the CI/CD pipeline in accordance with the overall development guidelines
Debugging issues and performing complex code/config changes to ensure resolution
Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues
Supporting clients with technical know-how
Collaborate with an international team
Coordinates feature requests, pull requests, bugs in modules, issues, or other topics with other supporters and developers
Responsible to build/maintain technical and training materials in central repository
Perform or support the required regression testing
Job requirement
Working hours according to CET time zone
You will be a part of a team that is required to react 24/7. Thus, you will be a part of a rotation agreement
Qualifications
We expect you to confidently tick these boxes:
Relevant educational background
5+ years of experience working with Sitecore Experience Platform
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English in order to secure clear communication with both the client and internal personnel (tech and non-tech)
Ability to gather data, analyze, propose actions and solutions and report to direct management
Demonstrated experience developing solutions with C# / .NET
Good understanding of REST / Web APIs principles, JSON, XML
Advanced skills in analyzing, crafting, developing, implementing, and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts
Demonstrated debugging skills
Demonstrated experience with Unit testing practices and methodologies
DevOps - CI/CD tools and systems
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development processes
Desirable experience
Experience with Azure Pipelines
Experience with Sitecore TDS
Sitecore .NET Developer Certification (V9/10) preferred
Experience working with SOLR, xDB and XConnect
Experience working with Containers, Docker/Sitecore AKS
Experience with PowerShell
