Summarized Purpose:
The Site Payment Associate is responsible for managing the set-up, processing, and reconciliation and of all site payments generated from subject activities, contracted milestones, and reimbursements for a group of projects based on the fully executed contract. This includes assisting with resolution of payment related issues and functioning as the primary contact for site and project team related inquiries regarding payments. The Site Payment Associate is responsible for understanding and adhering to all study specific timelines and processes for payments. The position will interact with study teams and other departments, at times. The essential functions and responsibilities shall take place under the direct supervision of the respective Site Payment Manager.
Essential Functions:
The Site Payment Associate assists colleagues and the Site Payment Manager with the identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities. Works closely with all members of assigned study team and the essential functions and responsibilities shall take place under the direct management of the respective Site Payment Manager
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities as noted below
Experience that demonstrates the ability to advise, mentor and support colleagues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Proven ability to handle multiple timeline sensitive tasks efficiently and effectively
Flexible and able to reprioritize workload to meet changing project needs
Excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Word and Excel. Preferred experience using PPD's CTMS, EDC, or financial systems.
Able to work independently and as a team member, promotes strong team approach and serves as a role model to others
Effective communication skills, which includes English language (oral, written)
Demonstrates ability to extract pertinent information from study documentation such as protocol, contracts, budgets, etc. and perform applicable data entry of said documents
Ability to effectively analyze project specific data/systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Responsible for adhering to ICH Good Clinical Practices, Country Regulatory and/or applicable tax regulations, and PPD/Sponsor SOPs and WPDs regulations for all
nonclinical/clinical aspects of project implementation, execution, and closeout
Demonstrates ability to/aptitude to mentor and train others
