About the job
You will be a Shipping and Customs support to the IKEA Philippines organization by implementing efficient process of the import related activities, securing efficient customs compliance controls with internal and external partners, and by that support the growth of IKEA businesses.
Your assignment
Review, sort, match and tally Shipping Documents & other supporting certificates for both imported and domestic deliveries
Check and coordinate with shipping lines/ brokers/ forwarders through email and/or via website tools for shipment status (ETA/ ATA on Port), and settling of invoices
Coordinate closely with Goods Flow, Transportation and Retail logistics teams for the container movement and gatepass availability, and ensuring maximum utilization of shipments' free days at the port.
Work with Shipping and Customs Specialist in ensuring compliance, and monitoring developments on customs-related legislations that may have impact on IKEA Philippines' import process.
Follow up on domestic deliveries on IKEA range articles
Support on producing shipping reports mainly for the purpose of monitoring KPIs, or whenever necessary
Qualifications
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration
Minimum of 2 years working experience in logistics, forwarding, brokerage, shipping or local Customs
Knowledge on logistics, supply chain, shipping, port operations and customs formality process
Fluent in Filipino; Good command of written and spoken English
Good computer literacy, especially on MS Office Excel
Great attention to details, and able to work under pressure
