An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced SEO Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Manila SEO Lead, you will perform an important function by creating quality content like product descriptions, guides, and knowledgebase articles within a wide range of niche topics. Working as a team, you will develop and implement content strategies that aim to improve search rankings, increase targeted traffic, and grow Airtasker's userbase. With geographical considerations, cultural nuances, and regional translations in mind, you will optimize and localize content based on keyword research, making sure that each piece of content speaks the language of our target markets.
What you'll do:
Create quality content such as product descriptions, guides, and knowledgebase articles within a wide range of niche topics
Develop and implement a content strategy that aims to improve search rankings, increase targeted traffic, and grow Airtasker's userbase
Optimize and localize content based on keyword research, keeping in mind geographical considerations, cultural nuances, and regional translations, and making sure that each piece of content speaks the language of our target markets
Liaise with outsourced content writers to scale content production Ensure quality, readability, and timely delivery of content requirements
Apply SEO best practices and understand new search technologies such as natural language processing, latent semantic indexing, best algorithm, etc.
Take active participation in documenting content workflows and editorial guidelines
What it takes to be successful in this role:
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in digital content creation and editorial management; SEO writing experience preferred
Understanding of SEO and the importance of content in increasing search rankings
Passion for research, writing, and editing, regardless of topic
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to make strategic decisions based on data
Excellent written and communication skills
On our wish list:
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs and Semrush
Interest in documenting technical workflows for the purpose of collaboration and knowledge-sharing with internal teams
