They are seeking anexperienced SEO & Marketing Specialist who understands digital strategy and can apply it specificallyto the charter bus, motorcoach, and transportation industry.About the Role:They are looking for a results-driven SEO & Marketing Specialist to handle all aspects of their digitalpresence, including website SEO, marketing campaigns, social media, press releases, brand visibility,and expanding their company's footprint across multiple states.Key Responsibilities1. SEO & Digital Optimization
Perform full technical SEO audits and on-page optimization
Improve keyword rankings for core phrases like "charter bus," "motorcoach," "group transportation,""event shuttle," etc.
Track ranking performance with SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, or equivalent tools
Build white-hat backlink strategies
Expand our presence on Google My Business, Bing Places, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and transportation-specific directories
Create local city landing pages (Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, etc.)
2. Backlink & Authority Strategy
Develop high-quality backlinks through guest posts, industry partnerships, press releases, news features, transportation blogs, and tourism boards
Identify and use competitor backlink sources from CharterUP, US Coachways, Yankee Trails, Connections Bus, Annett Bus Lines, and others
3. Press, PR, and Wikipedia Support
Draft and publish press releases to local and national news outlets
Create newsworthy events or projects to get Phoenix Bus Inc. in the press
Build Wikipedia-eligible notability through independent news coverage
Manage media contact lists and outreach
4. Marketing Campaigns
Manage social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok
Create monthly marketing content calendars
Produce and execute paid advertising campaigns
Develop brand awareness campaigns for charter services, corporate shuttles, tourism transport, and special events
5. Research & Competitor Strategy
Study competitor websites and replicate successful strategies ethically
Track competitor keywords, ad campaigns, landing pages, and pricing
Reverse-engineer competitor backlink sources
Create strategic plans based on industry trends
Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of SEO and marketing experience
Experience with SEO tools
Understanding of the transportation or charter bus industry (or willingness to learn)
Strong knowledge of white-hat SEO, local SEO, backlink building, press releases, and social media
Basic understanding of Wikipedia notability requirements
Experience researching and analyzing competitors
Preferred
Graphic design ability
Experience creating landing pages
Experience creating viral marketing initiatives
Familiarity with FDOT, FMCSA, or transportation brands
