An exciting Senior Tax Manager job has just become available at a leading multinational technology-based company based in Bonifacio Global City.
About the Senior Tax Manager Role:
In this role, you will be required to have knowledge in taxation, assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business. You will report directly to the Regional Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing comprehensive review and analysis of financial statements and tax returns while monitoring each PH entity to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and BIR filing deadlines and crafting policies that promote tax compliance
Manage tax cases with regulators until its conclusion and resolution
Handle tax implications of both national and cross-border business transactions
Provide tax efficient alternatives to the company's business units and transactions
Ensure monitoring of tax updates, communicate developments and create strategies on changes to taxation
Interpret tax requirements, procedures and compliance, and anticipate its implications and impact to the business
Responsible for transfer pricing and management fee arrangements
Ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes
Assist the treasury team in estimating and monitoring annual cash taxes
Coordinate with all business units and assist in monitoring implication of all issues and evaluate all present and future pricing strategies to ensure optimal level of efficiency
To succeed in this Senior Tax Manager role, you must have at least 13 years of experience in tax.
Key Requirements:
CPA is a must
Experience in a Big 4 firm
Experience in a multinational company
Experience in retail, FMCG or trading companies is highly preferred
Experience in handling a big tax team
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Must have very strong Microsoft Excel skills while analysing heavy volume data and reconciliation
Fluency in both written and spoken in English
Readiness to work in BGC, on a day shift schedule, Mondays through Fridays
