Do you have experience in recruiting for the Japan region and Japanese Language skills? Would you like to work for a growing, global business with a supportive TA team in the APAC region?
Due to an internal promotion into a global role, we are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for Japan. You be accountable for driving talent acquisition delivery, global TA best practice, managing candidate, stakeholder and the hiring process end to end, predominantly in Japan.
You will be effectively consulting with hiring managers and the HR team in Japan, establishing a trusted relationship quickly and managing strategies to attract, assess and deliver high quality talent to TR in the region You will also manage some key recruitment agency partners to achieve positive outcomes whilst actively pipelining and interviewing for direct hires. About the Role
In this new opportunity for Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will:
Be working to global best practice standards for Thomson Reuters Talent Acquisition
Developing and managing a talent pipeline for the Japan market via LinkedIn Recruiter, database searching and working with a Sourcing Specialist, in line with the businesses current and future requirements
Managing our preferred recruitment agency partners in Asia, conducting performance reviews and vendor briefing sessions.
Ensuring you are involved in the development of direct sourcing channels, mapping the market for critical roles, managing employee referrals, posting effective job ads and ensuring the Thomson Reuters brand is positioned well in the Japan market
Screening all candidates before they are hired, providing concise and pertinent information to Hiring Leaders and conducting any assessments required.
Managing regular reporting of data for TA metrics
Developing and managing our employment branding and marketing efforts, working with global EVP and ensuring consistency.
Providing market intelligence on hiring trends, competitor activity and salaries across the region
About You:
You're a fit for the role if you have:
Experience as a talent acquisition specialist for Japan with an in depth understanding of hiring in Japan and the Japanese business culture. Japanese language skills are highly preferred.
Capable of building strong partnerships with internal and external networks, based on trust and consistent delivery
Strong oral and written communication skills when dealing with management and employees at all levels and sound influencing and negotiating skills
Ability to collaborate and work across a large, diverse, and matrixed organization
Ability to build strong credibility with business leaders across the company
Effective consulting skills in setting TA expectations, developing effective sourcing strategy and evaluating candidates.
Ability to use technology effectively (Workday ideally, MS Teams, MS Office) to efficiently to manage your workload.
