Roles and Responsibilities
- Review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and presenting discrepancies to Client
- Relationship Manager
- Ensures period closing by providing complete, accurate and timely closing
- Works on tax packages with Client Associates
- Heavy data entry
- Bank, Credit Card, Brokerage, Investment transaction entry and reconciliation
- Working with multiple books for clients (individual/family accounting and corporate
accounting)
- AP Invoice entry
- Creating Process documents
Required Experience
- At least 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a variety of industries
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
A Successful Candidate must have
- Ability to manage tasks and due dates
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficient with
- Computer skills working with various office equipment, computers and various programs including databases, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Experience Advantage
- QuickBooks experience
- NetSuite, Sage100/Timberline/Intacct Software experience is a huge plus
