Your New Gig 💼
As part of our progressive Tech and Product team you will work closely with our Melbourne based team along with our Philippines based support team. Because of this, we have a preference for the successful candidate to be based in the Philippines.
You will work closely with our test lead on User Acceptance Testing of our software solutions for both our B2B and customer facing fiat-to-crypto exchanges. You will be part of a team required to build and maintain highly scalable and available systems that will operate globally. Testing of high quality, robust, secure and efficient software solutions that efficiently meet business and customer expectations.
Requirements
What You'll Do 👀
You'll be responsible for the end-end testing process from initial requirement gathering, conducting a variety of tests and test case analysis to ensure that systems and or applications exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
You'll work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases and scripts.
Smoke, functional, regression web & mobile and API testing.
Automation testing using Katalon Studio.
Execution of test scripts according to application requirements documentation.
Identifies defects and recommends appropriate course of action; performs root cause analyses.
Retests after corrections are made to ensure problems are resolved.
Documents, evaluates and researches test results for future replication.
Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
Interfaces with development teams if clarification is needed on requirements or to convey test results.
Exhibits good understanding of concepts and principles in their own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
Makes evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information.
Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
Provides informal guidance to new team members.
You should apply if ✅
You have 6+ years experience end-end experience across the testing lifecycle
Strong knowledge of full software development and testing life cycle
Experience with manual testing for enterprise applications following iterative or agile methodologies
Experience in writing a range of test artefacts; test plan, test cases, test reports etc...
Great stakeholder engagement skill, including experience with reporting test status'
Previous experience with automation on REST API services
You're able to work autonomously in a remote environment
What will put you on top of our shortlist 🏔
Experience in test automation, we use Katalon Studio however experience using Selenium or other automation tools would be great
Experience of designing automation frameworks and proven track record of ensuring best practice implementations i.e. code review, code quality gates etc.

To be eligible for this role you must be based in the Philippines and have access to fast internet connection and your own laptop. You must also be available to work full time (40 hours per week).
