Primary Purpose
Specifies, develops and writes test plans and test scripts, produces test cases, carries out regression testing, and uses automated test software applications to test the behavior, functionality and integrity of computer software, and documents the results of tests in defect reports and related documentation.
To maintain an up-to-date view of ServiceNow, Mobile Application, and Testing industry trends and developments, while providing input into the functional direction of the I.T. Testing strategy.
To provide so in a cost effective manner that will maximize business benefits and that is aligned to the Officeworks strategy.
Scope/Dimensions
Work with business and technical teams to implement Officeworks business initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Test Case Documentation
Test Case Execution
Knowledge of Best Practice software testing standards
Test Planning
Test Scheduling
Defect Management and Reporting
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Working with software development projects
Knowledge/understanding of programming languages (Java, .Net, C++, XML, HTML etc.)
Use of test management or automated test tools
Work directly with teams to ensure delivery and implementation of the software solutions
Work with the business teams to ensure full testing is done prior to business sign-off for deployment
Keep track of any defects arising from the testing or post-go-live, prioritize defects with the business teams and work with technical teams to resolve
Strong problem-solving skills (ability to understand business objectives and translate them into business requirements)
Excellent oral and written skills

Good understanding of project SDLC
Agile environment experience favorable

Formal Education
Appropriate tertiary qualifications.
