Novo Nordisk Philippines is part of Business Area South-East Asia (BASEA) with its office based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Position
This position will report to Business Unit Director of GLP-1.
The key responsibilities are as below.
Lead and/or assist the development of strategic omnichannel marketing plans for new and existing products, including in depth market analysis, effective market research activities, thought leader development, sales and profit forecasting and pricing strategy etc.
Execute marketing plans through the cooperation with the sales department, work closely with field sales to ensure marketing programs are implemented and followed up
Demonstrate effective cross-functional and international collaborations for new product launches
Work closely in strategic business partnerships with Sales, Medical, Finance, RA, Procurements, etc. to ensure thorough workflow during the product life cycle.
Identify, develop, and maintain key contacts including Key Opinion Leaders with different target audiences to fully understand marketplace dynamics
Maintain and execute a regular visit plan with target customers in coordination with sales force
Manage effectively all the interactions with relevant external agencies (e.g. creative agencies and event agencies) to ensure an outstanding brand strategy execution. This also includes the overall campaign elements, educational, promotional, and public relations programs.
Perform initiative & continuous improvement; constantly examines and improves plans, activities, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and business development.
Conduct practical and motivational product promotion training for current and new sales representatives
Qualifications
This position requires someone with a bachelor's degree and/or above with the following basic qualifications:
Academic degree within medical/pharma or business-related background, graduate/master's degree in business management is preferred
Minimum of 5 years work experience in a Marketing department or Strategy consulting with proven track record of omnichannel marketing strategy planning and implementation
New product launch experience is a must
Candidates with broad commercial experiences (i.e. sales, marketing, business development, key account management) with overall professional work experience of 10-15 years will have an added advantage
Therapy experience with chronic diseases (e.g. cardiovascular, diabetes) and related specialties (endocrinology, diabetology, cardiology, internal medicine, primary care) is an advantage
Has proven good track record within Multinational Pharmaceutical industry
Advanced level in English proficiency is required
