SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT - B3 - Sr Admin
This individual will perform payroll processing activities; however, their main responsibility is supporting the payroll admins with any complex queries, controlling the accuracy and timeliness of payroll and assist in holding communications with different stakeholders.
Utilising their payroll knowledge, the individual will be expected to know how to handle complex payroll queries which the pay admin need support with. This individual will also need to know when to escalate as applicable and can conduct coaching as needed.
Key Deliverables
Knows end to end payroll processing and year end activities
Ensure that all employee personal data is managed within legal guidelines, diplomacy, confidentiality and with discretion.
Proactively look for ways of improving and enhancing the HR administrative service offering to both staff and the business.
Ensure that employees' payroll will be processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure that any queries/requests related to Payroll will be addressed on a timely manner.
Ensure high customer service standards in all elements of the work.
Works with the Team Lead to identify training needs as it relates to specified process area
Performs coaching to team members in line with their expertise
Cascades information to team members regarding known issues
Continuously review and improve detailed work descriptions to ensure that they conform to changing customer and legal requirements and service delivery metrics
Provide training support and/or tools that support the knowledge management of the above
Work across client teams to ensure that a cohesive, standardized approach (in area(s) of expertise) is maintained for delivery of service
Identification, recommendation, and ownership of process improvements, automation, and standardization opportunities
Key Criteria to Monitor Performance:

Audit & Legal Compliance
Customer Satisfaction
Adherence to PPS procedures and policies
Requirements
2-3 plus years of payroll experience and has specific accounting, HR time and labor, garnishment, tax handling, etc in their background.
Certified Payroll Professional is a plus (ex. FPC, CPP, CPA, TAPS, CIPP, etc) for their country of expertise
Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll system
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, Access, and Internet Explorer
