Responsibilities and Duties:
We are looking for skilled backend Java developers to join our team. You will be both creating new integrations to the Platforms as well as redesigning and rebuilding key pieces of mission critical backend processes in a newly defined reference architecture.
You should be comfortable working as part of a wider team as well as independently. Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, AWS, Java, PostgreSQL, Docker and continuous integration are essential to being successful in this role.
You will be comfortable and understand that test driven development leads to better outcomes.
You will have working knowledge of with Maven or Gradle and know your way around Jenkins.
We have a DevOps department, but still expect our devs to know how to change stagingenvironments to meet their needs.
Requirements
Computer science degree or equivalent experience
Excellent foundation in computer science and algorithms
Experience with core AWS technologies, S3, ECS, EC2, SQS, SNS, RDS
Minimum 5 years of commercial Java experience
Strong written and verbal English skills
Preferred Qualifications
Banking integration experience
Experience integrating system to system
