Role Purpose
The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for the technical development of Awra's digital products & platforms.
You'll be working on developing a range of new tech platforms. You should be comfortable joining discovery/scoping meetings and workshops with our digital production team of developers, strategists, marketing teams and stakeholders. You will use your expertise to develop and deliver quality solutions. You will look for ways to improve the codebase you're working with (where appropriate), understand architecture and how it is delivered/run and the impact your changes have.
You demonstrate the ability to remove problems, overcome roadblocks and have exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
Your Priorities
Drive development forward to the highest standards, through best practice, innovation and leadership * Define and execute solutions and technical architecture
Mentor and lead a growing internal development team and lead by example.
Assist the commercial team and ensuring a smooth transition of knowledge into production
Knowledge of architectural options and the ability to select based on client needs and budget
Discover business goals and through ideation and collaboration, translate these requirements into solutions that work
Organize your work within an Agile team and workflow
Collaborate with a broader team, including project managers, designers and other developers
Resourcing - continue the team growth through selection techniques, testing and interviews

Your requirements
Ability to manage people, mentor, guide and be an approachable leader * Sound understanding of commercial software applications and development processes
Experience implementing CMS platforms (Headless CMS platforms like Contentful, Sainty.io, Butter CMS etc)
Extensive experience building design system using React / Node.js / GraphQL / Vue / Tokenization
Client communication skills, and ability to translate technical ideas
Experience with ensuring code standards are met within the team on each and every project
HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills and a passion to write clean, concise and organized code
Extensive knowledge of modern cross-browser HTML and CSS
Experience in consuming RESTful APIs
Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
Knowledge of CSS precompilers (Sass / LESS).
Strong desire to constantly improve and learn
Confidence and experience working with design teams
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Experience with Amazon AWS and Google Cloud
Experience working with Continuous Integration / Deployment
