senior Finance Manager - philippinesBusiness Trends

Job Purpose:
Effective management of all commercial, financial and administrative matters relating to the business, including reporting to the UK parent and APAC HO.
Principal Accountabilities:
To work with the local Managing Director and lead the Finance and Admin staff within the business.
Assist in reporting to UK parent and APAC HO including month end and year end requirements.
Assist local team in preparation of annual Group Business Plans/Budgets/Forecasts.
Assist local team in planning and implementing local business goals and actions
Develop and train team members.
Manage debt collection/credit control, including settlements process where required.
Ensure Corporate Governance in conjunction with local Company Secretary.
Manage cash flow requirements.
Manage external service providers, eg auditors and tax agents.
Manager creditor requirements.
Establish/maintain local policies and procedures as required.
Assist with the setting, measuring and implementing of local KPI's.
Ensure stock takes are adequately undertaken and measured, and findings investigated.
Responsible for overall payroll requirements.
Responsible for compliance with local authorities financial/lodgement requirements on a timely basis.
Act as a strong team player to maximize the results of the business.
Manage contractual terms and risks relating to the business.
Undertake reasonable requests from the Managing Director Philippines and Finance Director APAC.
Knowledge & Experience:
Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager
Experience within large international groups with central/overseas reporting requirements.
Preferably experience in the Philippines/APAC.
High degree of maturity, self-reliance and an ability to be 'immediately' effective
Experience and ability to initiate and manage change
Strong forward planning experience and hands-on where necessary
Experience of working in a team of senior managers
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas Center,Pasig City.
Preferably CEO/SVP/AVP/VP/Directors specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
