Job Description
The Senior Finance Associate provides a comprehensive suite of accounting and bookkeeping services.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Payroll maintenance and payroll processing (including preparation of journal entries)
- Accountable for accounts payable processing. Bills and vendor invoices are up-to-date and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Sales invoicing and collection, including receipts allocation
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Month-end accounting and processing (accruals, prepayment, amortization/depreciation, month-end reports, provisions (remuneration and entitlements)
- Maintaining a fixed asset register includes capitalizations and depreciation/amortizations
- Balance sheet reconciliation and schedule preparation
- Record and monthly reconciliations of credit card collections
- Ad-hoc finance queries
Required Experience
- At least 3 years' experience in accounting
- Accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
- Good working knowledge of PAYG, GST, Payroll tax, and AP and AR processing
- Good command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel
