Description
A Senior Engineer serves as a key member on the Global Accounts Receivable Platform team. Particularly, this role involves System Architect responsibilities which includes defining high-level solutions, exploring and weighing alternative solutions, defining subsystems and their interfaces, and allocating responsibilities to these subsystems. This individual will be a member of a team of System Architects reporting to an Engineering Director all working collaboratively with Agile teams, business partners, end-user customers, and other partners in coming up with a high-level technology infrastructure, decomposing solutions and systems into components and subsystems, and defining and handling their interfaces and APIs, all in order to ensure that the solution being developed fits its intended business purpose.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Actively participate to the review and analysis of business needs and user stories.
Working with developers in day-to-day activities and helping in review of design, coding and the SDLC tasks.
Actively participate in Pre and Post Platform Increment planning, Solution Demos and Inspect and Adapt events.
Nurture an environment of innovation and continuous improvement, leading changes that drive efficiencies into existing engineering and delivery processes. - Drive accountability for quality aspects in release pipelines, including system performance, platform availability, operational efficiency, risk management, information security, data management and cost-effectiveness - Implement standards and tools to manage service problems and ensure software is released in a streamlined manner from development to production.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required.
Minimum of 7 years' related experience
Hands on Mainframe, COBOL and DB2 skills
Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing
Able to communicate complex data structures and associated components
Has deep understanding of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining application
Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies and components
Able to translate business requirements into high level software design.
Hands on experience in software development using Agile methodology
Work from Home Requirements:
Must have at least 25 mbps internet connection plan / speed
Must have a private & quiet area to work at home
Must be amenable to work in Taguig once community quarantine measures are lifted
This role is not open to visa sponsorship according to business requirements.
