About the position
We are looking for a Senior Creative Designer who will support, maintain, and enhance the standards of creative excellence across all our brands. This role requires a broad range of skills and a great mix of both managerial and hands-on responsibilities.
We are seeking someone comfortable with ideating, concept creation, brainstorming, testing, iterating, and crafting incredible creative work across several media touchpoints, including websites, landing pages, EDMs, digital marketing, social media, print, outdoor designs, etc. with a good understanding of best practices for each channel.
The successful applicant will be comfortable with creative/illustration tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. An ability to animate in After Effects and execute the occasional video editing/export will be a great plus, though it is not essential.
Responsibilities
Conceptualising ideas and presenting them to the senior leadership
Developing design treatments and initial creative concepts based on the creative brief
Taking concepts and turning them into finished artwork, optimising for digital, broadcast and print formats
Reviewing junior designer drafts to ensure quality.
Understanding and working with brand guidelines for different brands
Helping with the development of brand guidelines for new brand launches
Maintaining brand guidelines, including updates and modifications, when required.
What were looking for
7+ years' experience in graphic design and concept creation, ideally in a creative agency.
Advanced level skills in using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Highly skilled communicator (oral, written & interpersonal).
Some understanding of the designs for an eCommerce retailer and social media ads would be ideal.
Eye for detail and good aesthetic skills
