Senior Research Analyst who is responsible for the maintenance of database administration and sourcing of the Financial Markets exchange and contributed data. Responsible for ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner and works on assigned data projects. Support the training of entry-level Associates with regards to product, workflow and databases.
Validate the accuracy of data received from various sources. Ensure that this information is stored in Refinitiv databases and is accurately reflected on products by creating or running data quality checks and standards. Ensure the quality and time-efficient production of financial information to Refinitiv products. Respond to data queries from both internal and external clients and provide high-level support to such users. Consolidate information around the dataset leading to the establishment of best practices. Monitor market events in order to anticipate changes in financial instruments. Coach and train analysts on data issues, databases & products. Impart training to the new joinees on the dataset. Frequently run automated/semi-automated checks to ensure production of high quality of content. Ensure documentation is maintained online.
The role will be responsible to ensure proper and continued data maintenance of fixed income markets in Latam.
Role Responsibilities
Accurate and timely coverage of terms and conditions for new and existing bonds, RIC creation, real time data including benchmarks, issuer maintenance in both EJV and OA
Reading & reviewing, prospectus/documents/press releases in second language of fixed income market
Leading & coaching junior market analysts with complex market-related issues and work closely with New York Based team
Project work: developing content offering
Stakeholder management - contacting data providers, exchanges and market participants as well as internal teams, CSMs, Content Proposition to capture complex or difficult to obtain information regarding market trends and conventions
Cooperation over the boundaries: working closely with staff based in other global locations to answer and assist with any complex market related issues as the market dictates
Client engagement - supporting key FI accounts (via Service Cloud & direct support)
Review, research and provide resolution to globally based Service Cloud inquires
Create regional Metrics reports reporting past tendencies and provide suggestions for improvements
Qualifications Required
2-3 years' experience working with content (data maintenance, procedures write-up)
Interest in finance/market obsession- advanced fixed income knowledge (to be preferred)
Experience in service governance (working on clients' queries, direct support)
Language Skills: Business proficiency in English. Secondary language of Spanish (advanced/native) Portuguese, Korean, Thai or Mandarin
Technical Skills Excel, Python
Interest in driving simplifications
Proven track of trainings' delivery
