Job Title: Senior Cloud Operations Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer)

Job Summary:
As the operations lead in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you will be responsible for ensuring all operational tickets are being done in an efficient and timely manner. You will be responsible for ensuring timely feedback is provided to our internal customers and prioritize operational tickets as needed.
In addition, you will also help the team on SRE work like reliability, security and efficiency of Change Healthcare's Enterprise Imaging Cloud SaaS solution. This an opportunity to be instrumental in our evolution into a cloud SaaS solution with a rapidly growing customer base.
Responsibilities include production deployments, monitoring, ensuring SLAs are met, and incident response management. In addition, we try to improve our operations via software development by building automation for otherwise manual work.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of DevOps/SRE/Cloud Infrastructure experience or equivalent experience in mainstream software development
• 1+ year in leadership or project lead type of responsibility such as managing a devops team or large operations project
• 2+ years of experience in programming/scripting.
• Excellent communicator (both verbal and written). The role requires interaction with many teams.
• Willing to be on-call rotation (however there are plans to have teams in different timezones).
• Solid foundation in OS scripting & administration experience: Linux (bash, SSH etc) & Windows (Powershell).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Good programming skills (e.g. Git, Python, Bash, Powershell)
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure including compute, networking, storage and other cloud services e.g. (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Strong knowledge of software fundamentals like web traffic (HTTP, TCP, REST), Networking, VPNs, Certs, LoadBalancers etc
• Infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experienced in containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, GKE/Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher)
• Setup and use of monitoring frameworks (e.g. Stackdriver, Influx db/TICK, grafana, ELK, prometheus, splunk, Nagios, NewRelic, Dynatrace etc)
• Analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot, prioritize and solve complex problems
• Able and willing to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
• 2+ years (or certification) in administration/automation of cloud infrastructure and deployed applications for enterprise SaaS or PaaS companies in public clouds such as AWS, GCP, Azure.
• 2+ years and a proven record of success of using/creating automated delivery and configuration tools (CI/CD and monitoring tools).
• Independent work ethic and effective at negotiating with peers without direct authority.
• Experience with InfoSec and Compliance (e.g. HIPAA , PHI, Soc2).
• Familiarity with Healthcare IT standards as well as with Healthcare workflows (DICOM, HL7, PACS, VNA).
