About the Role
As a Senior Back-end Developer, you will be working on and developing from the ground up bespoke websites and web applications. You will be part of one of Cubro's small and passionate teams that will be responsible for the digital transformation of the company. As one of the Backend Developer Team, you will play a tremendous yet pivotal role in working across the web services, managing all backend operations, including architectural and system design, tech stack selection, and processing the services to guarantee that the platforms are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Ownership of the codebase and tech stack of various web services in aiding the development and when need is troubleshooting.
A large emphasis was put on collaboration within the team and the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external members.
Give your input for digital strategies of the project whilst working with the teams and providing reports.
Manage all backend operations and processes of the services to ensure the efficient and effective running of the platforms.
Work on the architecture end to end and identify/mitigate any technical issues and improvements to meet business goals for the clients.
Position Requirements
Proven track record of full back-end development from architectural and system design to tech stack selection, end-to-end development, and deployment.
Experience using Silverstripe CMS.
Strong experience with database design and writing performant queries.
Experience with foundational OOP and clean architecture principles.
Experience working with Git and modern CI/CD tooling.

Willingness to learn - Developers always keep themselves updated on current technologies, and so does not want to stand in one place, and wishes to be more qualified. It refers to both professional competence and general education. Constant learning is crucial for achieving goals and being successful as it is the knowledge that can pave the way to higher job positions and deserve the honour of other people, let alone feel more confident.
