Located at One West Aeropark in Clark Pampanga, a world-class building with top facilities, a conducive work environment is guaranteed!The Back Room Offshoring Inc. is hiring a proactive Senior Audit Associate to perform and oversee audit work, particularly for clients in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for audit team communication, audit execution, and delivering meaningful audit insights.Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct full-cycle audits for for-profit and nonprofit organizations
Review and/or prepare U.S. GAAP client financial statements, accounting entries, and identify internal controls for relevant assertions in higher risk areas
Coordinate audit work and draft audit plans
Perform testing over all areas of financial statements
Present findings to audit team, offering practical recommendations
Stay updated on industry-specific accounting changes and audit standards
Assist in refining internal processes for improved audit efficiency
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA designation (or equivalent international certification)
At least 3 years of audit experience with exposure to nonprofit and for-profit engagements
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards
Familiarity with nonprofit reporting (e.g., Form 990, FASB ASC 958)
Clear oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with preferred audit tools (e.g. CCH Engagement)
Non-Negotiable (Must-Have) Requirements
Demonstrate ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously.
Take ownership of engagement phases including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up activities.
Proactively communicate audit status, delays, or client-side bottlenecks with local manager and/or US-based audit team members.
Negotiable (Nice-to-Have) Requirements
Ability to balance curiosity and professional skepticism in evaluating financial data.
Supervise, assist, and train less experienced team members throughout the course of the engagement, as needed.
